Client: Maryland Department of Health (MDH)
Objective:
MDH seeks a QA Testing Lead to oversee, guide, and coordinate testing across all application workstreams. The resource will ensure adherence to testing standards, interdependency management, and delivery of high-quality application components aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage QA processes across all application tracks.
• Ensure test visibility, traceability, and control across teams.
• Assist in updating test plans and monitoring execution.
• Manage testing resources and resolve impediments.
• Track testing progress using metrics and provide regular reports.
• Collaborate with MDH, PMO, and vendors to understand business and technical needs.
• Coach and guide UAT testers; oversee defect triage and resolution.
• Provide weekly status updates to project managers.

Required Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field.
General Experience:
• Solid foundation in QA best practices.
• Experience writing test cases/scripts and leading UAT efforts.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools (HP ALM, Bugzilla, JIRA, etc.).
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Proven leadership experience in QA environments.
Specialized Experience:
• 5+ years on medium to large-scale system development projects.
• Experience developing test strategies, automation, and executing test plans.
• Healthcare domain experience is required
