Job Description:

·         HHSC is seeking a qualified Software Developer 2 to support ongoing and upcoming large-scale IT initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical experience in application integration, especially with SailPoint Identity IQ, Okta, and Azure single sign-on technologies. This role is critical for ensuring secure and seamless user access across enterprise applications.

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

·         Researching, designing, implementing, and managing software programs.

·         Testing and evaluating new software solutions.

·         Collaborating with developers, UX designers, analysts, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality integrations.

·         Participating in the full software development lifecycle in an Agile/Scrum environment.

·         Developing API services to manage access policies and external integrations.

·         Providing technical support during and post-deployment phases.

Minimum Skills & Experience Requirements /Years Required/Preferred Skill/Experience

·         6- Years Required  Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies for solution delivery

·         6- Years Required  Strong collaboration skills with Architects, Project Managers, and Service Delivery

·         4- Years Required  SailPoint development: workflows, rules, connectors, policies, and configurations

·         4- Years  Required Okta single sign-on integration

·         4- Years Required  API service development for access policies and external app integration

·         2- Years  Preferred  Experience working with Texas State Agencies
