Job Description

The client is seeking an experienced AWS developer/engineer to join Automation Team, which is responsible for leveraging native AWS services to automate the provisioning and management of AWS IAM. The candidate will perform highly complex analysis, design, development, unit testing, deployment, and operational support of the team’s solutions.

 Job Responsibilities

·         Analyze highly complex requirements; if needed, generate technical specifications to design or redesign software components, services, and functions

·         Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution

·         Assure quality security and compliance requirements are met for supported area

·         Programming including coding, debugging, and using relevant programming languages

·         Being flexible and thrive in an evolving environment

·         Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner

·         Work with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to achieve a common goal

 Qualifications/Requirements

·         Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related field required

·         Extremely skilled in coding; 10+ years’ experience in the field of software engineering/development

·         Skilled in AWS/cloud technologies, cloud computing, and DevOps

·         Seasoned skills and experience with AWS CloudFormation, CodeCommit, Lambdas, IAM, DynamoDB, etc.

·         Expertise with Python scripting, JSON, YAML, etc.

·         Networking knowledge – NACLs, Security Groups

·         AWS developer (preferred) and/or architect certification

·         Well-versed in Agile

·         Proficiency using Atlassian tool suite (i.e., Jira, Confluence, etc.) to track and document work

·         Effective technical and analytical skills for issues troubleshooting

·         Experience migrating teams or applications into the Cloud

·         Requires full engagement, focus, and availability during the workday in a highly collaborative environment

·         Requires excellent people/soft skills, including being successful at engaging stakeholders, customers, vendors and managing their expectations
