Azure Data Integration Engineer / Specialist

Job Description

·         Develop Azure Based Data Movement. Recommend solutions that can be implemented, after review by team.

·         Make changes to code, perform unit testing, and assist the business team in user acceptance testing, adhering to all change management policies and procedures.

·         Responsible for Process document, ERD (Entity Relationship Diagrams) and technical documentation.

·         6 8 years experience in Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Service Bus, AzureFunctions, Data Factory. Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure services and technologies, including VMs, storage, networking, security, and application services.

·         Experience with developing Azure Functions. Experience in Dremio.

·         Knowledge of Flask/Django. Experience with data movement technologies (Azure Data Factory, Python and Data Bricks)

·         Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell and Azure CLI.

·         Strong working knowledge on Azure components and services such as Storage Account, Azure Data Factory, Active Directory, Synapse, Key Vault, VMSS, Function apps, web apps, Log analytics workspace, Service principal.

·         Experience with Extract Load and Transform (ELT) concepts, process, and design. Hands on experience with wide variety of data platforms such as Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server.

·         Metadata definition and management via data catalogs, service catalogs, and stewardship tools such as Microsoft Purview.

·         Test programming using automated testing frameworks, data validation and quality frameworks, and data lineage frameworks.

·         Data ingest, validation, and enrichment pipeline design and implementation.

·         Strong understanding of data pipelines;

·         should be able to work with REST, SOAP, FTP, HTTP, and ODBC Knowledge of UNIX shell scripts is a plus.

·         Ability to communicate well, both verbal and written. Superior team skills.

·         Ability and willingness to propose creative and optimal solutions. .
