Job Title: Cloud Architect

Location: Richmond, VA (Hybrid – 4 days onsite/week)

Duration: Long Term Contract

Job Summary:

We are actively seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to join our team in Richmond, VA. This is a hybrid role requiring an onsite presence 4 days per week. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-native architectures with a strong emphasis on security, scalability, and reliability.

You should possess deep expertise in Cloud Native architecture paradigms, industry-standard design patterns, and security best practices, along with hands-on experience in configuration management, monitoring, and automation tools.

Key Responsibilities:

·       Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-native architectures.

·       Develop cloud strategy and coordinate adoption across teams and environments.

·       Define best practices and ensure compliance with security and governance frameworks.

·       Leverage infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools for automation and observability.

·       Collaborate with development, DevOps, and security teams to drive solution design and delivery.

·       Evaluate and recommend new cloud services and technologies.

Skill Matrix:

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

·       Minimum 15+ years of IT experience with at least 6+ years in cloud architecture roles.

·       Relevant cloud certifications preferred (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect).
