Description
The IT Infrastructure Architect – Cloud Platform Engineer is responsible for the deployment and operations of Cloud Platforms and services in our Private Cloud infrastructure. As a member of the Cloud Platforms infrastructure team, you will enhance our next-gen private cloud platforms.
You will work in Cloud Platforms Services team to secure our NextGen private cloud platforms delivering Platform as a Service (Tanzu Application Service/Cloud Foundry, others), on VMWare vSphere. Resource will have experience, working with platform engineers, in designing, building, and maintaining PaaS platform and guiding the application developers to build Cloud Native solutions.
Must Have Requirements:
12+ years of professional experience with a bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant field
Strong experience with Linux, Networking and storage fundamentals
Docker, Kubernetes administration, Kubernetes RBAC, POD Security, Operators, NGINX ingress controller, HELM, Service Mesh – Istio
Programming – Shell scripting, Python, Automation – Ansible, CICD
Strong working experience with application architecture, HA, DR, Infrastructure services (DNS, Load Balancer, Firewall, TLS certs, web servers, reverse proxies, GIT
Broad knowledge in systems telemetry and monitoring (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace Splunk, etc.)
Experience with Agile methodologies, effective working independently.
Responsibilities:
Kubernetes administration, Linux & basic knowledge of Infra components (Network, Storage etc.)
Support App teams to resolve their issues.
Help customers to onboard to KOB Platform.
Assist with migration activity to App teams.
Build new Infra/Platform.
Automation, capacity planning, performance tuning etc.
