Cloud Security Engineer – Alpharetta, GA (locals Only)

Description:

• Seeking an experienced Cloud Security engineer to join a dynamic team. An ideal candidate should have a good understanding of Cloud and DevSecOps methodologies to play a critical role in integrating security products into cloud infrastructure management.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement product integration to secure cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Develop, maintain and enhance CI/CD pipeline, ensuring efficient delivery
• Establish and maintain security, monitoring coverage, and  automate gaps in the existing process
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and threat detection
• Work closely with partner teams during implementation

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years' experience in cloud and DevSecOps
• In-depth knowledge of any one CSP (AWS/Azure/GCP) – GCP preferred
• Deep knowledge of Landing Zone, furnishing with Terraform, controls on cloud
• Good understanding of kubernetes (EKS, AKS, GKE), helm charts, gitops (FluxCD preferred)
• Proficient with CI/CD technologies
• Strong understanding of network security concepts (Firewalls, Proxy)
• Ability to automate with programming/scripting (Python/Go)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skill. Ability to communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

• Cloud security-specific certification.
• Knowledge of security standards and frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, OWASP)
• Experience with Agile practice
