Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect with a strong background in IT and extensive experience leading strategic cloud migration initiatives. This role requires a deep understanding of application and infrastructure architecture and the ability to work in large enterprise environments while leveraging multiple cloud platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cloud migration strategies and guide architectural decisions for enterprise applications and infrastructure.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions across various cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud solutions with business objectives and operational requirements.
- Ensure best practices in cloud architecture, governance, compliance, and security.
- Provide technical leadership to engineering and development teams, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and integrate them into the cloud ecosystem where applicable.
Qualifications & Skills:
✅ 10+ years of IT experience, specializing in cloud solutions and enterprise architecture.
✅ Proven expertise in cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, and application transformation.
✅ Extensive hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or other major platforms.
✅ Strong understanding of networking, security, virtualization, and automation in cloud environments.
✅ Ability to drive innovation while balancing cost-effectiveness and business needs.
✅ Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to present technical solutions to stakeholders.
✅ Must be local and available for a hybrid onsite schedule in Essex County, NJ.
Preferred Qualifications:
⭐ Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Architect.
⭐ Experience working with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and DevOps methodologies.
⭐ Background in cloud cost optimization and performance tuning strategies.
