Job Description:
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in data profiling, analysis, and data modeling.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and familiarity with tools such as SQL Developer, TOAD for Oracle, D Beaver, and Erwin.
- The role requires experience in building data mapping requirements and effectively handing them off to build teams.
- A solid understanding of AWS services, particularly S3 and Athena, is essential.
- Extract, clean, and transform data from various sources to support business intelligence and reporting needs.
- Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, anomalies, and actionable insights.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data analysis and reporting.
- Work with AWS S3 for data storage and retrieval; use AWS Athena for querying large datasets.
- Compare datasets using tools such as Beyond Compare or similar utilities.
- Create and maintain detailed data mapping documents; collaborate with ETL teams to clarify requirements.
- Participate in the Amigo process to communicate Data Analyst requirements to build teams.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications in collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, understand, and deliver on data requirements.
- Document data definitions, relationships, and data flows to support data governance and transparency.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.
