Job Description

• Implement and maintain security solutions (PKI, VPN, zero-trust) for aircraft and ground systems.
• Manage server infrastructure (Windows and Linux) and network devices (firewalls, VPN gateways, intrusion detection systems).
• Handle cryptographic keys and digital certificates.
• Respond to and manage security incidents.
• Collaborate with stakeholders for secure operations.
• Stay updated on aircraft IT and network security developments.
• Support security training programs.
• Monitor aviation systems for threats and analyze logs.
• Perform risk assessments and ensure compliance with cybersecurity frameworks.
• Secure cloud environments for log analysis and reporting.
• Conduct security posture assessments of ANSP ground systems.

Skills:

• 3-5+ years of cybersecurity engineering experience.
• Proficiency in managing firewalls, VPNs, IDPS, ZTNA, EDR, and CSPM solutions.
• Expertise in cloud security (AWS or Azure) and PKI infrastructure.
• Ability to design secure network architectures and conduct security assessments.
• Experience in securing communication between aircraft and ground systems.

Preferred Certifications:

• CISSP, CCSP, CompTIA Security+, Cisco CCNA, GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)

Tools and Technologies:

• Network Security: Cisco Firepower, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, RRAS, Tempered Airwall, Cisco AnyConnect, Zscaler, OpenVPN, Snort, Suricata, Zeek, Wireshark.
• System Security: Windows & Linux Server Security, CrowdStrike Falcon, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Tenable Nessus, Tanium Comply, Ansible, Puppet, Chef.
• Cloud Security: AWS Security Hub, Azure Security Center, AWS IAM, Azure AD.
• PKI: Microsoft AD CS, OpenSSL, Hardware HSMs, AWS KMS, Azure Key Vault, HashiCorp Vault.

Key Projects:

• Implement new network security architecture for aviation systems.
• Design and implement a secure hybrid cloud environment.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive PKI solution.
• Conduct security assessments and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with OEMs to ensure product security.
