Job Description:
We are currently seeking a Mirth Administrator / Developer with experience in healthcare interoperability solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Mirth Connect, HL7 configuration, and FHIR API integration.
We are currently seeking a Mirth Administrator / Developer with experience in healthcare interoperability solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Mirth Connect, HL7 configuration, and FHIR API integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Mirth Connect channels for healthcare data integration.
- Configure and troubleshoot HL7 v2/v3 interfaces.
- Map HL7 messages to FHIR resources and integrate with FHIR APIs.
- Ensure secure data exchange using protocols such as HTTPS and OAuth2.
- Monitor and maintain Mirth server performance and message logs.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to meet compliance and interoperability standards.
Required Skills:
- 6+ years of experience working with Mirth Connect.
- Strong knowledge of HL7 standards (v2/v3) and FHIR.
- Proficiency in transforming, filtering, and routing messages in Mirth.
- Experience with JavaScript, XML, and JSON within Mirth.
- Familiarity with RESTful API integration.
- Understanding of HIPAA compliance and healthcare data privacy.
Preferred:
- Experience with database integration (SQL, MongoDB, etc.).
- Exposure to other interoperability tools and EMR systems.
