Position: Data Engineer
Location: On-site 5x per week in Tulsa, Oklahoma
- Work Authorization: H1-B preferred; client would like the possibility of full-time after 12-18 months
6-month contract with strong extension possibilities to 12-18 months - Candidate MUST HAVE prior experience with SQL Server 2019, C#, multiple types of data sources, ETL pipelines, and Azure DevOps/Git.
- Banking/Financial Services strongly preferred
- Priority will be given to local candidates in Tulsa, OK OR current Oklahoma residents
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have the below experience: 8+ years preferred
Azure DevOps / git experience
SSIS
Advanced knowledge of SQL (the main platform is SQL Server 2019)
Visual Studio with C# experience (must be able to maintain, read and debug code)
This team runs a metadata-driven dynamic ETL for some of the sources if you see any of these terms
Experience with ingesting multiple types of data sources
– Fixed width files
– Sub-record type files
– CSV type files
Oracle
Kafka (preferred but not required)
Mostly on-prem type2 historical database environment (Change-data-capture).
