Title: Data Scientist/AI Engineer
Location – Phoenix, AZ
In General: looking for someone who has good ML Engineering experience and good understanding of Models.
Data Analytics Solutions – Emerging Technologies team is looking for a talented AI Engineer that crafts cutting edge artificial intelligence solutions for Technology Risk and Information Security customers. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Machine learning, Deep learning, Generative AI and AI system development, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable AI applications. If you are an innovative AI professional who is looking to build AI products and services that target the Cyber Threat landscape using sophisticated data processing and analytics tools and techniques, then we have an opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop innovative data products and applications using emerging technologies covering dashboards/user interface, APIs, data pipelines, data alerts, predictive analytics, machine learning algorithms and Generative-AI.
- Ensure compliance with model governance standards through the development, validation and monitoring of data-driven models.
- Establish robust evaluation metrics to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of Machine Learning and Generative AI models, iteratively improving their performance.
- Build platform capabilities for data processing, model versioning, training, tuning, serving, experimentation using Cloud Native Architecture.
- Continuously improving the products through refactoring and optimization of our platform using cloud-native designs.
- Multi-functional collaboration with peer technology and security customers to deliver high-impacting data products and solutions.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in generative AI and machine learning, and actively experiment with novel approaches to stay ahead of the curve.
- Leading a culture of innovation using rapid prototype and experiment to deliver faster, optimal and safer AI products.
Requirements and Skills:
- Over 6+ years of IT experience with focus on the following technologies/disciplines:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields; master’s degree is preferred.
- Proven ability to apply emerging technologies to business problems and to apply external thinking.
- Experience in operationalizing Generative-AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) based solutions.
- Operational experience with machine learning algorithms and concepts such as feature engineering, regression analysis, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, recommendation engines, natural language processing, probabilistic models like Bayesian networks, Markov chain etc. required.
- Proven experience in ensuring adherence to model governance frameworks through the design, validation and oversight of data-driven models.
- Experience in designing and implementing large scale platforms and frameworks to serve machine learning capabilities.
- Experience in the Cybersecurity or IT risk domain is helpful but not required.
Hands-on Experience with most of the following tools/frameworks/technologies:
- Development languages/tools/libraries: Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Shell Scripting, Jupyter Notebooks, PyCharm, VS Code, Vector DB (pgVector, Milvus etc.)
- Orchestrate: Argo Workflow, Kubeflow Pipelines, ML Run, Triton Inference Server
- Container: Docker, Kubernetes
- Observability: Elasticsearch, Kibana, Prometheus
- Data Engineering tools and technologies: Hadoop, Hive, SQL, NoSQL, Spark, Dask, Apache NiFi, Apache Kafka
- CI/CD: Jenkins, XL Release
- Hands-on experience on Web Application/RESTful API development
- Experience with any cloud-based provider like AWS, Azure, or Google cloud is a plus
