Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our MedTech Supply Chain team at Johnson & Johnson. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machine learning and deep learning, with experience building large-scale models and systems in cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Initiatives: Lead key initiatives, including leading a team of scientists to develop and evaluate innovative machine learning and deep learning models
Proof-of-Concepts: Conduct proof-of-concepts and implement multi-year ML-based digital products following business priorities
Collaboration: Work closely with product management teams and business partners to develop products and technical roadmaps
Requirements:
Education: Advanced degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related technical/scientific field
Experience: 4+ years of experience in data science and building large-scale ML models and/or systems in cloud environments
Technical Skills:
Strong coding and problem-solving skills in Python and other programming languages
Proven scientific and hands-on background in forecasting time-series, classical ML, and deep learning
Preferred Skills:
Experience in multi-functional projects and partnering with business
Experience with demand/supply planning, manufacturing, inventory management, and supply chain concepts
Experience with reinforcement learning
