About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and innovative Senior/Principal Data Scientist to join our team in Bellevue, WA. This role is ideal for a data science leader with deep technical expertise in machine learningdeep learningMLOps, and data engineering. As a key member of our data science team, you will design and deploy scalable ML systems, lead strategic initiatives, and help shape our AI/ML vision.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning and deep learning models for real-world applications.
  • Architect and implement end-to-end ML pipelines, including data ingestion, model training, deployment, monitoring, and retraining using MLOps best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, product, analytics) to define business problems and translate them into data science solutions.
  • Drive experimentation and optimization of models for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to building a high-performing data science culture.
  • Ensure high-quality data engineering practices, including robust ETL pipelines, data integrity, and model feature engineering at scale.
  • Stay current with the latest research and industry trends in AI/ML and integrate relevant innovations into production workflows.
Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in data science, with a proven track record of deploying machine learning and deep learning models at scale.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML/DL frameworks such as TensorFlowPyTorchscikit-learn, or XGBoost.
  • Solid knowledge of MLOps tools and practices (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency in data engineering tools and frameworks (e.g., Spark, Kafka, SQL, dbt, Snowflake, or BigQuery).
  • Experience building scalable data pipelines and managing large, complex datasets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in fast-paced, product-driven environments.
Prior experience leading data science initiatives or teams.
Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps in ML workflows.
