Electro-Mechanical Test Engineer || Onsite, Franklin, NH

Position: Electro-Mechanical Test Engineer (One Position / Onsite) 
Location: Onsite, Franklin, NH 
Product/Station: IntelliStation 2 (Digital Mixing Valve) 
Customer: Watts Water – Engineering Manager 
. 
  
  
Skills (Must Have):   
Expertise on “Pressure Decay Leak Testing of Mixing Valves”. 
Knowledge of acceptable leak limits for water mixing valves, familiarity with test 
cycle design, test timing, and pressure stabilization. 
Understanding of valve flow characteristics and tolerance to pressure changes. 
Awareness of failure modes in valves: seat leakage, seal failure, improper assembly, 
etc. 
  
Manufacturing Process Knowledge 
Familiarity with the assembly station and how leak testing integrates into the 
workflow. 
Understanding upstream/downstream effects (e.g., improper assembly leading to test 
failure). 
  
Process Capability & Control 
Ability to monitor and improve test station performance (CP, CPK, SPC analysis). 
Define control limits and escalate abnormalities. 
Lead investigations for test failures. 
Implement corrective actions when tests fail due to station, product faults or fixtures. 
  
Testing Equipment & Instrumentation 
Understand and maintain leak test systems: sensors, gauges, test fixtures. 
Collaborate with maintenance for calibration and troubleshooting 
  
Recommended Background 
Education: Degree in Mechanical, Quality, or Manufacturing Engineering. 
Certifications: Quality auditor, Six Sigma,, Certified Quality Engineer. 
Experience: 5-8 years in a high-volume manufacturing QA or test engineering 
environment.
