Job title: Embedded Engineer- Linux

Work Location: Mountain View,CA  – Onsite requirement

6+ Months Contract

Immediate interview. 

Required Qualifications

• 3-7 years of experience
• Good understanding of C and C++
• Familiarity with Linux kernel and drivers
• Understanding of at least one embedded Linux distribution (le. Yocto or Buildroot)
• Good understanding of Ethernet, IP, and higher levels of networking Hardware-based ethernet packet processors (VLANs, Filtering engines, TCAMs, etc)
• Deep familiarity with features of at least one network switching ASICs is a must (Broadcom Marvell, or Microchip switches preferred).
• Basic knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals to support low level debugging

Desirable knowledge

• PTP (Precision Time Protocols)
• RTOS Safety + Security Concepts.
