Job Overview:
The Cloud Strategy Project Manager is responsible for developing and executing a cloud strategy for cloud adoption within the organization. This role involves analyzing current technology infrastructure, existing cloud solutions, and ensuring proposed project meet compliance and industry standards and regulations. The Cloud Strategy Project Manager collaborates with various departments to align cloud initiatives with overall business objectives and provides regular updates on the progress of cloud technology adoption.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Maintain Cloud Strategy: Create and maintain an effective cloud strategy that aligns with the organization's goals.
• Evaluate Cloud initiatives: Assess different cloud-based initiatives/projects, assists with prioritization, highlight dependencies, estimate project budgets and timelines.
• Stakeholder Communication: Ensure alignment on cloud strategy and implementation plans by communicating with stakeholders across the organization.
• Project Management: Oversee the planning of cloud solutions, ensuring they integrate effectively.
• Leadership and Guidance: Provide leadership and guidance to the IT team and other stakeholders throughout the process.
• Compliance: Ensure the cloud infrastructure meets regulatory and compliance requirements.

Other Responsibilities

• Vision and scope definition.
• Help teams develop and drive a plan with well-defined milestones.
• Interface with all areas affected by the project, including end users and other internal groups to coordinate project activities.
• Help identify and capture dependencies on cloud initiatives, potential bottlenecks and helps put together a road map.
• Time Management and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to follow direction and complete required tasks independently.
• Addresses incoming escalations from executives, and engages appropriate resource/teams to resolve
• Ensures that account executives are aligned with action plan.
• Provide feedback to all teams on the implementation performance of the Cloud Services network, security, servers and storage infrastructure
• Identify and request resources for the project and to ensure team members understand their roles and responsibilities
• Manage, monitor and ensure project stakeholders are adequately involved in the project planning, development, acceptance and implementation
• Ensure the project maintains the proper balance between Enterprise Technology and customer needs.
• Manage the design recommendations and ensure sound design principles are applied to the product design, appropriate cloud technology solutions are identified, designed and implemented
• Risk assessments and mitigation plans

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Several years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on cloud computing technologies.
• Skills: Strong project management, communication, and leadership skills. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS/Azure/Microsoft Co pilot/Google Cloud is preferred.
