Functional Project Manager Finance // Need Local to Houston, TX

Position: Functional Project Manager – Finance

Location: Houston, TX – Onsite – Locals Only

Duration: 6-12+ Months Contract

Need USC & H1B, H4 EAD candidates only.

LinkedIn & Passport Number Must for Submission.

Need 10+ years profiles

Must have strong Financial background and MS Project

Job Summary:

• No paid parking, Multiple projects simultaneously and No remote
• More than 5 years current experience managing projects.
• Strong project financials.  Will be asking deeper questions in this section.  Cap vs Exp, est to complete,  est at completion…..
• Strong Microsoft project
• Good working with people
• Project documentation and familiarity with SOX controls (nice to have).
• Don’t need specific to any one software as the multiple projects is more important

Requirements:

Essential Skills

1. 5+ years of experience in financial project management, preferably in the energy industry.
2. Strong understanding of financial concepts, accounting principles, and financial regulations.
3. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
4. Experience with MS Project, financial systems implementation, and project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
5. Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.

Desirable Skills

1. MBA or master’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related field.
2. Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) or finance (CFA, CFP).
3. Experience with financial systems implementation (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards).
4. Knowledge of energy industry financial regulations and standards.
5. Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
