This is Rajat and I represent LanceSoft ,a leading IT staffing organization. I am part of a team responsible for servicing the major clients of ours those are the world leaders in providing their specific services/solutions.
Position: Database Migration Consultant
Location: McLean VA (Onsite)
Core Responsibilities:
- Database Migration and Replication from DB2.
- Managing the AWS DMS infrastructure, including replication instances, endpoints, and tasks.
- Utilizing AWS Schema Conversion Tool (SCT) to convert source database schemas to a compatible format for the target database.
- Familiarity with database migration processes and tools, including full loads, change data capture (CDC), and replication techniques.
- Knowledge of various database platforms like DB2, Postgres.
- Understanding of network concepts and security best practices related to database migration and replication.
- Good Communication Skills and willing to work from office for 5 days.
