We are seeking an experienced and analytical IT M&A Financial Analyst to support financial tracking, reporting, and forecasting activities related to IT mergers and acquisitions. This role is responsible for modeling financial impacts, evaluating synergy opportunities, and ensuring alignment with corporate integration goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Core Financial Skills
- Build and analyze “what-if” financial scenarios for IT-related decisions (e.g., hardware purchases, data center relocations).
- Conduct valuation and financial modeling including cash flow, capital expenditure (CapEx), and operating expenditure (OpEx).
- Evaluate financial impact of IT decisions in M&A transactions.
- Analyze trends in IT spending and identify financial synergies.
- Create and manage IT budgets and forecast performance.
- Monitor financial performance and generate variance analysis reports.
- Track cost-saving initiatives and report against synergy targets.
Technical Skills
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, and complex formulas.
- Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Project & Integration Tools
- Experience using Jira Align or similar tools to map financial dependencies in integration plans.
IT and M&A Knowledge
- Familiarity with IT budgeting components (infrastructure, licensing, hardware, software).
- Understanding of M&A lifecycle including due diligence and integration.
- Ability to evaluate and quantify financial synergies such as vendor consolidation savings.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills
- Identify trends in IT expenditures and recommend strategic adjustments.
- Provide insights to optimize IT integration and reduce redundant costs.
- Critically evaluate multiple scenarios and recommend feasible, cost-effective solutions.
Collaboration & Communication
- Engage and collaborate with IT leaders, finance teams, and M&A managers.
- Prepare concise, actionable financial reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- Certifications (Optional but Valuable): CPA, CFA, FP&A, CBAP, PMI-PBA.
- Experience: 3–7 years in financial analysis, ideally within IT or M&A environments.
