Job Summary:

    We are seeking a highly skilled SAP P2P (Procure-to-Pay) Tower Lead to manage the AMS (Application Management Support) function within an SAP S/4HANA environment. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP MM, working knowledge of SAP PM, and proven experience with cross-functional integrations across FI, SD, WM, and related modules. This role combines hands-on functional troubleshooting with leadership responsibilities and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) functional tower in an S/4HANA AMS setup, ensuring high-quality support and SLA adherence.

• Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP MM, covering procurement, inventory management, and invoice verification.

• Provide support for SAP PM, especially in areas integrated with procurement and inventory.

• Manage ticket queues and oversee the end-to-end AMS lifecycle: incident management, root cause analysis, and continuous service improvement.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (FI, SD, WM, Ariba/SRM, Basis/Technical) to resolve integration and process-related issues.

• Act as the primary liaison for business stakeholders and functional users for ongoing support and enhancements.

• Drive best practices, process standardization, and automation initiatives in the P2P space.

• Support minor enhancements, regression testing, and readiness activities related to S/4HANA updates and release cycles.

• Coach junior consultants, maintain knowledge repositories, and ensure effective documentation and knowledge transfer.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Deep functional expertise in SAP MM: purchasing, inventory management, release strategies, and invoice verification.

• Hands-on knowledge of SAP PM processes and integration with MM.

• Proven experience in cross-module integration with FI (GR/IR, invoice processing), SD (third-party procurement), and WM (goods movement).

• Solid understanding of SAP S/4HANA, including Fiori apps relevant to P2P and the transition from ECC.

• Experience in managing AMS functions: ticket lifecycle, SLA monitoring, documentation, and knowledge base creation.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to issue resolution.

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Familiarity with the ITIL framework and service delivery standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in S/4HANA RISE environments.

• Knowledge of SAP Ariba or SRM integration with core P2P processes.

• Basic understanding of SAP GRC and role-based access within P2P.

• Hands-on experience with ITSM tools such as SAP Solution Manager, ServiceNow, or Jira.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.

• SAP Certification in MM or S/4HANA P2P is highly desirable.
