What is the future of a recruiter in a US staffing Company? In what areas can he explore being a recruiter?
Here comes the truth & a honest suggestion.
After spending more then 6 years into us it recruitment still I’m not feeling safe at my current organisation! every now and then feels insecure about the job. and the worst part is it really depends on your LUCK, Company & your Account(TEAM). even after getting highly paid you will never feel satisfied, it’s almost as similar as BPO industries in India,
this is really not a secure job, i my self-planning to switch my career into IT Industry.
let me give you Pros and CONS about US IT Recruitment industries based in India !
Pros:-
- Enough of position based across all parts of India ! (Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, Delhi … just name the City you will find company’s everywhere)
- You don’t need to learn anything to get this job nor you have to earn masters and bachelor’s degrees for this all you need to know is fine English, you heard me burh ! just a fine English !
- you can easily get high paid salary as well as incentive . Yes not more then IT Programmers or other field! FOR EG:- 2 Years hard-core programmer ==(Is equal to) 6–7 years US IT LEAD RECRUITER
- youth and chilling surrounding !
NOW LET’S BEGEINNE TO THE MOST IMPORTANT PART WHICH IS CONS
- No secure job, you can get fired anytime!
- Night shift will make you weak! will make you sad and depressed in life ! never give you satisfaction about sleeping on time, giving time to family ! etc etc !
- always worrying about making reports, Submissions, quality check, and all !
- MOST IMPORTANT BASED ON YOU’RE QUESTION .. NO GROWTH , NO CREATIVITY , NO SMARTWORK , THIS JOB WILL NEVER HELP YOU FOR IMPROVING ANY SKILLS APART OF COMMUNICATION !
- After a certain point of time you will be a Senior Recruiter and may be a manager but not more than that …. if you’re so good with it may be Account manager but yes that will take your more than 10+ Years …
- i admit there’s a lot of recruiter’s who are just doing good ! and making big and good looking money ; and my aim is not to just demotivate you, trust me this job is also my daily bread and butter ! i run my entire family from this job and this also gave me lot of skills but seems like i can also do much better otherwise !
