Elite Technical is seeking a IBM Infrastructure Engineer with a hands-on production support experience supporting a focused IBM production environment. We are seeking candidates that has completed server installation, has worked with different IBM vendors, and has worked with MQ to directly support the environments Healthchecks for server install performance and operational issues. This particular hire will be ensuring server installation production is running smoothly and resolve issues when any frameworks are down.

-5+ years has an Infrastructure Engineer with a strong IBM technology stack with prior expertise installing servers from inception to completion. Ability to provide Healthcheck status reporting and able to identify/resolve any infrastructure production issues
– Must have production support experience
-Prior experience working with IBM vendors
– Extensive knowledge of MQ Series
– Extensive SDLC experience with some development or Systems programming experience
– Ability to analyze and trouble-shoot Mid-tier/infrastructure issues (networking R&S, Firewalls, Etc-)
-Basic knowledge around BitBucket and AWS Cloud
– Very strong verbal and written communication skills (Critical)
– Ability to facilitate technical requirements gathering and design sessions
– Collaborate and interpret business and technical needs
– Excellent attention to detail and quality work products (Critical)
– Strong customer service skills with internal and external customers and vendors (Critical)
– Strong analytical and documentation skills
