Job Title: Technical Architect
Location: Bellevue, WA – Onsite
Contract
Role Description:
Conduct regression and compatibility testing on Windows OS across PCs and ARM64 devices for Windows applications.
Ensure application and system compatibility during OS upgrades, servicing builds, and multilingual deployments.
Validate hotfixes and servicing packages across global releases to ensure compatibility.
Leverage expertise in Windows Internals and system architecture (ARM64, x86/x64) for testing new Microsoft engineering devices.
Extensive experience working in Microsoft for supporting application compatibility testing and engineering validation efforts across various Windows platforms.
Technical Solution Design: Develop and document detailed technical solutions for .NET applications, ensuring they meet business and technical requirements for scalability, performance, and security.
Technology Stack Selection: Evaluate and choose the right tools, frameworks, libraries, and technologies in the .NET ecosystem to align with the projects objectives and constraints.
Development Standards and Best Practices: Define coding standards, architecture guidelines, and best practices to ensure the technical consistency, reliability, and maintainability of the codebase.
Code Review and Quality Assurance: Perform and oversee code reviews to ensure high-quality, optimized code; identify areas for improvement and guide developers on resolving technical challenges.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, stakeholders, and other architects to translate business needs into technical strategies, while ensuring seamless collaboration across development, QA, and operations teams.
Technical Expertise: Programming languages such as, C#, SQL & Azure Familiarity with CI/CD tools like, Azure DevOps.
Architectural and Design Skills: Strong understanding of software architecture principles, allowing for effective design of scalable automation frameworks. Knowledge of microservices, containerization, and cloud platforms (e.g, Azure, ) is preferred.
