Immediate requirement – Guidewire Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement custom Guidewire applications, including integrations with other systems.
• Customize and extend out-of-the-box Guidewire functionality using Guidewire's configuration tools (e.g., Gosu, Guidewire Studio).
• Work with business analysts to gather and refine requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure that developed features meet functional and performance standards.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality standards and best practices are met.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in production and development environments.
• Perform data migration and system upgrades as part of version updates or new project implementations.
• Ensure proper documentation of configurations, customizations, and implementations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to maintain and optimize existing Guidewire applications.
• Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for production systems, including incident management and root cause analysis.
• Stay up to date with the latest Guidewire releases and industry best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience with Guidewire applications, including at least 7 years of hands-on development experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and/or BillingCenter.
• Strong knowledge of Guidewire Studio.
• Familiarity with Guidewire integration frameworks and tools (e.g., Web Services, JMS, REST APIs).
• Experience with database technologies, including SQL, Oracle, or similar.
• Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
