Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to join our team on a W2 basis. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Java-based applications, with a focus on backend development. You will be responsible for working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Java development.
• Proficient in Java (JDK 8 or higher) and object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security).
• Knowledge of RESTful API development and microservices architecture.
• Experience with SQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Basic understanding of version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular/React is a plus.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Java-based applications.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to define requirements and solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing applications.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and high code quality.
• Contribute to the design and development of new features.

Additional Information:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be available for W2 employment (no C2C or 1099).
