Job Title: Documentum xCP Developer / Tech Lead / Architect

Job Summary:
NTT DATA is seeking a skilled and experienced Documentum xCP Developer / Tech Lead / Architect to deliver enterprise content management (ECM) solutions for a Federal government client. The ideal candidate will lead solution design, development, and integration efforts on the Documentum xCP platform (up to version 23.2), ensuring performance, security, and compliance standards are met. This is a full-time telework role based in the DC Metro area.
Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Solution Architecture & Design
- Design overall architecture and technical solutions for Documentum xCP applications.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
- Ensure alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
🔹 Requirements & Integration
- Gather and analyze business/technical requirements with stakeholders and BAs.
- Define integration points with other systems (content repositories, APIs, databases).
- Ensure secure and efficient system integration.
🔹 Application Development
- Provide guidance and hands-on development support to xCP developers.
- Customize and extend Documentum xCP platform features.
- Ensure code quality, adherence to standards, and performance optimization.
🔹 Workflow Automation
- Design and implement automated workflows and business processes in xCP.
- Define business rules, escalation mechanisms, and user tasks.
🔹 Performance & Security
- Conduct performance testing and tuning of xCP applications.
- Design and implement security controls and access management solutions.
- Ensure compliance with data protection and organizational policies.
🔹 Documentation & Collaboration
- Produce architecture diagrams, design documentation, and user guides.
- Mentor development teams and ensure optimal platform utilization.
- Communicate technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
🔹 Continuous Learning & Innovation
- Stay updated on trends in ECM, BPM, and Documentum xCP technologies.
- Evaluate and recommend platform enhancements and innovation opportunities.
Basic Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in IT, Business, or related field
(Education equivalency applies: see below for alternatives) - 7+ years of experience as a Solution Architect with BPM and workflow automation
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Documentum xCP (up to version 23.2)
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Education Equivalency Options:
- H.S. Diploma + 4 years experience = Associate’s Degree
- Associate’s Degree + 4 years experience = Bachelor’s Degree
- Bachelor’s Degree + 4 years experience = Master’s Degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Deep understanding of content management (metadata, versioning, security)
- Experience with ECM repositories, relational databases, and web technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communicator and team collaborator
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver high-quality results
- Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, XML
- Certifications in Documentum xCP or related technologies (preferred)
