Description:

Responsibilities

• Define the overall architecture and design of the application.
• Choose appropriate technology stacks and libraries that complement React.
• Create reusable and maintainable component structures.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements.
• Document architectural decisions, design patterns, and code standards.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation for the development process and application structure.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the React ecosystem.
• Evaluate new tools and libraries for potential adoption.
• Lead the development team by providing guidance on best practices in React and front-end development.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Address technical challenges and provide solutions to complex problems.
• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality code.
• Collaborate with back-end developers to integrate APIs and services.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks in the application.
• Implement strategies for optimizing loading times and overall application performance.
• Ensure that applications are scalable, maintainable, and testable.
• Establish testing strategies, including unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests.
• Establish and enforce coding standards and best practices within the team.
• Conduct regular code reviews to ensure adherence to these standards.
• Oversee the deployment process and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Ensure the application is production-ready and monitor its performance post-deployment.
• Implement security best practices within the application.
• Analyze and resolve production issues as they arise.

Skills and Qualifications

• Strong expertise in React, JavaScript, and related technologies (Redux, Next.js, etc.).
• Experience with state management, component lifecycle, and React hooks.
• Familiarity with backend technologies (Node.js, RESTful APIs, GraphQL).
• Understanding of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and microservices architecture is a plus.
• This role requires a combination of technical skills, leadership abilities, and a keen understanding of both user experience and business goals.
