IBM Cognos Report Developer

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science , IT or related technology. 5 years of experience in data modeling and BI development, preferably with IBM Cognos-IBM Cognos Analytics (Report Studio, Workspace, Query Studio, Dashboarding) -Framework Manager for metadata modeling -Cognos Connection for report scheduling and distribution-

Strong technical expertise in report development, data modeling, and performance optimization.-

Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc queries using IBM Cognos Analytics. -Design and build metadata models using Framework Manager.

-Integrate Cognos reports with other enterprise systems as needed.

-Maintain documentation for all reporting solutions and processes. –

Provide support and training to end-users on Cognos tools and reporting best practices.-Experience with other BI tools like Tableau or Power BI.

-Strong problem solving, technical, and functional skills with the ability to multi-task.-Understanding of intent modeling and semantic modeling in Cognos.-

Ability to work in Agile environments and collaborate across teams.

1Understand AS IS architecture and identify limitation in current architecture with respect to technology, platform and solutions .

2Define TO-Be architecture with respect to current and future requirements.

3Defines, extracts, analyzes and presents data to answer the question being asked.

3Provide industry best practice and market trend with respect to Cognos Data Modelling.

4Provides training and support throughout the organization for the use of analytics tools.
