Required Skills:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required and should be noted on the resume.
8+ years of experience in Project Management within large organizations
Strong ability to plan, budget, schedule, and manage multiple projects
Experience developing project charters, SOWs, work plans, budgets, and schedules
State /Federal client Experienced profiles preferred

Job Description:
About the Role
The client is seeking an experienced Project Manager 3 to lead and coordinate multiple initiatives and special projects across the agency. This role requires strong project governance, stakeholder coordination, and executive-level reporting. The Project Manager will work with minimal supervision and exercise significant independent judgment.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, manage, and oversee multiple complex projects across the organization
Maintain coordination across related initiatives and lead special projects
Develop and maintain project management tools and documentation
Track and report project progress, risks, issues, and accomplishments
Present status updates and recommendations to executive and senior leadership
Develop project artifacts including project charters, SOWs, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments
Ensure issue resolution and removal of project barriers
Facilitate meetings, workshops, and group problem-solving sessions
Work closely with sponsors, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure project success

 Required Skills & Qualifications (8+ Years)

PMP Certification (mandatory)
Managing multiple projects in large organizations
Project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource management
Risk, issue, and dependency management
Business process mapping and process improvement
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Stakeholder management and executive-level communication
Development of project documentation and reports
Ability to analyze complex issues and prioritize effectively

Preferred Qualifications
Experience preparing executive briefings, reports, and presentations
Experience summarizing and escalating issues appropriately
Strong experience delivering weekly written and verbal status reports
Experience conducting regular project team and stakeholder meetings
