Job Description:
The primary responsibility is to design and execute database upgrades from Oracle 19c to Oracle 23ai, and to maintain multiple environments that support ETL activities. Candidates must have hands-on experience with Grid Infrastructure setup and maintenance, security vulnerability compliance, and performance tuning.
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years of experience with Oracle Database Infrastructure Management (19c or higher)
8+ years of experience with Oracle Grid Infrastructure (ASM, Clusterware)
8+ years of experience with High Availability solutions (GoldenGate, Active Data Guard)
Strong expertise in Oracle database upgrades from 19c to 23ai
Experience maintaining multiple database environments supporting ETL activities
Hands-on experience with performance tuning, security vulnerability remediation, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery
Advanced scripting experience with Linux and SQL
Experience with database modeling, monitoring, and optimization
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with Federal, State, or Local Government organizations
Experience working with hosting vendors
Experience supporting Oracle PeopleSoft environments
