Experience with one or more of the state of Texas government agencies
implementing Enterprise Systems Integration
Experience with SAP
Certifications:: CBAP and/or PMP certification
Job Description:
The Project Manager II is an Information Technology (IT) position that will manage components of highly complex and visible projects and/or program initiatives. This role will follow project management methodologies and governance processes to deliver work products on time and within a set budget. The role will also collaborate with the end-user and key stakeholders to provide status updates and gather requirements, with the vendor on their implementation and delivery of contract deliverables, and with the internal IT Team.
Required Skills
7+ years of experience managing large and complex IT projects
Strong experience with IT SDLC processes
Enterprise Systems Integration implementation experience
SAP implementation/support experience
Experience managing multiple concurrent projects
Strong project planning, scheduling, stakeholder management, and executive reporting
Experience creating and maintaining:Project Timeline
Risk & Issue Log
Communication Plan
Stakeholder Register
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience collaborating with business, technical, and vendor teams
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools for project planning, scheduling, reporting, risk management, and stakeholder engagement
Experience integrating AI-assisted capabilities while ensuring governance, security, quality, and human oversight
