SaaS ERP Systems: CGI Advantage (CAPPS STARR), enterprise financial systems support
Knowledge of USAS, TINS, SPA legacy systems
Experience with Test Savvy or similar SaaS testing tools
Familiarity with Snowflake or cloud data platforms
Experience with Jira and Confluence
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced System Analyst to support the implementation and integration of the CAPPS STARR system, a SaaS ERP solution (CGI Advantage). This role works closely with the client’s Information Technology and Fiscal Management teams to analyze, document, and validate system and reporting requirements, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and financial business processes.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting SaaS-based financial systems, system integrations, reporting, and vendor coordination in a complex enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support implementation and ongoing enhancements of CGI Advantage SaaS ERP
Analyze and document business, system, and reporting requirements
Coordinate system integrations with legacy platforms (USAS, TINS, SPA)
Design, implement, and support financial integrations (APIs, ETL, batch, SFTP)
Manage and troubleshoot inbound/outbound interfaces and Control-M jobs
Develop and support financial reports and dashboards using Power BI and Advantage tools
Perform complex troubleshooting of financial transactions and data discrepancies
Support integration testing, regression testing, and UAT
Create and maintain technical documentation, data mappings, and test artifacts
Ensure security, access controls, and compliance with state financial standards
Collaborate with vendors, application, infrastructure, and security teams
Participate in Agile ceremonies and on-call support rotations
Required Skills & Experience
8+ years supporting enterprise financial systems (ERP) in production
6+ years working in SaaS application environments
Experience with CGI Advantage / Advantage ERP or similar SaaS ERP platforms
Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder communication skills
Experience with system integrations (REST APIs, ETL, batch interfaces, SFTP/PGP)
Expertise with Power BI or ERP-native reporting tools
Experience with middleware / API orchestration tools (e.g., Apache Camel)
Experience developing and monitoring Control-M jobs
Strong SQL skills for data validation and analysis
Experience in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments
Excellent documentation and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting state government financial systems
Knowledge of USAS, TINS, SPA legacy systems
Experience with Test Savvy or similar SaaS testing tools
Familiarity with Snowflake or cloud data platforms
Experience with Jira and Confluence
