NOTE:
The working position is Hybrid – On Site and Telework.
 Position will be 3 days remote with 2 days (Monday & Thursday) required to be onsite at the location listed above
The program will allow local to Texas candidates only
Preferred who are LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN(50 miles radius) AREA 
Please do not submit candidates who are currently out of state and are planning to move to Texas. Candidates must already reside in Texas.

Job Description:
Core Technical Expertise (8+ Years Required)
Hands-on experience in server-side / web services development on J2EE platforms
Experience maintaining and enhancing enterprise-class applications
Strong experience across all phases of the SDLC
Hands-on development experience with:

Java, J2EE
REST/SOAP Web Services
HTML5, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS3, Bootstrap, SASS
Angular, Typescript
Spring Framework
JSON, XML
JWT, OAuth
NPM, Maven
OpenAPI v3
Postman, ReadyAPI
Mulesoft (or similar)
Experience implementing secure REST services, including authentication/authorization using JWT, OAuth, etc.
Experience developing self-contained, reusable, and testable components
Demonstrated experience owning and maintaining enterprise-level web services stack
Strong understanding of:

Data structures & algorithms
Performance tuning
Caching strategies
Scalability considerations for web applications
Strong oral and written communication skills
General Responsibilities Ability
Application development, enhancement, maintenance, and support
Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving defects
Participating in requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and deployment
Creating technical/design documentation
Supporting production operations and system analysis
Using contemporary testing methods to ensure error-free applications
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or MIS
 Preferred Skills
(3+ Years Preferred)
Hands-on experience with JBoss or IBM WebSphere Application Server (v8 or later)
Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum preferred)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments
Experience developing applications for Cloud platforms
Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) using tools like:

Karma
Jasmine
Selenium
