Job Summary
This position supports analysis across multiple initiatives and leads special projects assigned by agency leadership. Responsibilities include developing data analysis tools, defining data requirements, preparing recommendations for project leadership, and supporting various projects to ensure their success. The role requires independent judgment, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work with teams across the agency.
Skills & Qualifications
Required (8 Years)
Strong ability to research, gather, analyze, and correlate data; identify solutions; prepare concise reports; and prioritize complex issues.
Ability to transform data into actionable insights to support business decisions; experience developing and presenting reports that highlight technology and operational gaps.
Experience developing as-is/to-be data models to identify opportunities for operational efficiency.
Skilled in data mapping and identifying process or data improvements; ability to establish benchmarks and frameworks for trend and performance analysis.
Experience analyzing data policies and procedures and understanding their impact on automated systems and functional areas.
Ability to acquire data from multiple sources, perform deep analysis, identify correlations, and create clear reports for business users.
Experience developing metadata, tables, and user interfaces for reporting.
Proficiency in creating data reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using specialized reporting tools.
Preferred
5 Years: Experience creating advanced data reports, dashboards, and visualizations using creative and specialized reporting tools.
5 Years: Experience preparing SDLC-related materials such as gap analyses, recommendations, roadmaps, requirements, design documents, system/data flow diagrams, test cases, and use cases.
1 Year: Experience working in a State or Federal public sector environment.
