Data Engineer & Database Administrator (Mid-Level, 8+ Years)
About the Role
We’re looking for a mid-level Data Engineer & DBA to join our data platform team. You’ll build and maintain scalable data pipelines while ensuring our databases are reliable, secure, and high-performing. You’ll work closely with analysts, engineers, and product teams to deliver clean and timely data.
 
Required Skills:
Strong experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Amazon Redshift
ETL/ELT pipeline development and maintenance
AWS Services: S3, Glue, Lambda, RDS, Redshift, Step Functions, Kinesis
Strong SQL and Python scripting
Workflow orchestration using Airflow or AWS Step Functions
Database administration, performance tuning, monitoring, backup & recovery
Database security, encryption, and access management
Query optimization and capacity planning
Preferred Skills:

Kafka or Kinesis
dbt
Delta Lake / AWS Lake Formation
Terraform / CloudFormation
CI/CD and basic DevOps experience
