Job Description:

 
This is 100% remote work. US Citizens Required as this project supports FedRAMP authorization.

Essential Responsibilities:
• 70% hands-on engineering focused on deployments, tooling, automation scripts, and cloud solutions
• 30% leadership duties including mentoring engineers, ensuring quality deliverables, and handling escalations
• Act as the primary escalation point for complex technical issues
• Coordinate engineering activities and ensure project timelines are met
• Lead sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and Jira management
• Work closely with architecture and consulting teams to address compliance and risk mitigation
• Support DevOps delivery processes including IaC, CI/CD, policy-as-code, and change management

Required Skills:
• Strong expertise in AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud environments
• Experience with Entra, Intune, Defender, networking, and FedRAMP/NIST controls
• Hands-on experience with Terraform for Infrastructure-as-Code
• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and leadership skills
• Experience with cloud orchestration, automation, and deployment processes

Required Experience:
• 10+ years supporting or implementing cloud-based solutions
• Experience creating automation scripts and deployment tooling
• Experience handling escalations and critical production issues
• Leadership or mentoring experience within engineering teams
• Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD processes

Required Certifications:
Professional/Expert level certifications in AWS or Azure or GCP

Preferred Skills:
• Experience with FedRAMP, DoD, HIPAA, or HITRUST frameworks
• Familiarity with CIS Benchmarks & DISA STIG
• Experience using Ansible, GitLab/GitHub automation
• Terraform Certifications
• Cloud Security Certifications
