UI – Robo framework, Selenium, LambdaTest experience  
Need to have significant experience in Python and Java

Job Description
We are looking for an experienced SDET Contractor to join our agile team. The ideal candidate is a strong individual contributor with deep automation expertise, solid communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Core Responsibilities
8+ years of hands-on testing/automation using Selenium WebDriver, Robot Framework, or similar tools
Strong programming experience in Python, Java, or similar languages
4+ years of strong SQL experience (DML/joins for test data setup/verification)
2+ years of REST API testing (Postman; automation experience is a plus)
2+ years of experience working with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Codefresh, Jenkins)
2+ years of automation using Playwright with TypeScript
6+ years of experience in Agile/Scrum teams
Ability to work independently, ask the right questions, and apply critical thinking
Mentor and guide other SDETs on tools, processes, and automation best practices
Participate in all Agile ceremonies (standups, refinements, reviews, retros)
Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
Minimum Qualifications
Act as the Test Architect within an agile team (developers, SDETs, architect, PO, Scrum Master)
Contribute to overall automation strategy; lead scripting and test automation activities
Assess improvements, evaluate tools, and optimize scalability, integration, and self-service solutions
Develop test strategies for complex systems and provide technical direction
Work on a large-scale AWS web application using:

ReactJS (frontend)
Spring microservices / REST APIs (backend)
Aurora DB
Own the testing of user stories (manual + automated) and perform in-sprint automation using Robot Framework
Collaborate with other SDETs to review nightly regression failures
Work in standard 2-week sprints (standups, demos, retros, refinements)
Bachelor’s degree in CS, CE, or equivalent experience
Preferred Skills
Experience with AWS or any cloud platform
Knowledge of Shift-Left testing
Experience with JMeter or other performance tools
Telecom domain experience
Comfortable with MacOS / Unix-based systems
Exposure to AI/ML, Big Data, and reporting testing
