Role summaryWe are seeking an experienced Dremio Application Operations SRE to manage the operational health, monitoring, and support of the Dremio platform. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills and experience working with cloud infrastructure, data platforms, and production support environments.
Required Skills:
Strong experience with Dremio Administration & Operations
Troubleshooting query failures, stuck engines, connection failures, and service health
Experience analyzing Dremio logs, query history, engine status, and workload/resource issues
Knowledge of Dremio connectivity with MSSQL, Object Storage, File Systems, and other data sources
Understanding of AWS, Amazon EKS, FSx, Networking/DNS, AWS Batch, and Microsoft Entra ID
Experience with monitoring tools, operational dashboards, alerts, and runbooks
Strong incident management, root cause analysis, and production support experience
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor Dremio platform health and availability
Investigate and resolve operational incidents
Troubleshoot query, engine, and connectivity issues
Coordinate with Platform, Database, Network, and Identity teams
Maintain documentation, dashboards, and operational runbooks
Drive preventive improvements by identifying recurring issues
