They require active Certified Application Developer (CAD) and Certified System Administrator (CSA) certifications to handle configurations, scripting, and integrations effectively. Typically, roles demand 3+ years of platform experience with emphasis on JavaScript frameworks and ServiceNow modules like ITSM or service portals.

Key Responsibilities
Design and implement custom portal pages, widgets, and UI components using AngularJS, HTML, Bootstrap, and ServiceNow tools like ATF for testing.
Optimize UI performance, troubleshoot defects, analyze usage stats, and ensure compatibility with platform upgrades.
Develop scripts (Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies), workflows, and integrations via REST/SOAP while collaborating on requirements gathering.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Active CAD and CSA certifications, plus proficiency in JavaScript, HTML/CSS, SQL, JellyScript, and ServiceNow features like ACLs, Script Includes, and Flow Designer.

Bachelor’s in Computer Science or equivalent; 3+ years in ServiceNow UI/portal development, with Agile experience and strong problem-solving skills.
