Required skills:

• Expert knowledge of Autosys, Linux, and Shell scripts.
• The primary responsibility will be to cover all ongoing needs of our infrastructure.
• That includes ensuring good health of our 11-node Linux batch cluster, scheduling, batch reporting, handling SR/DR events, system upgrades, and prep work for large production releases.
• In addition to that, good communication skills are a must.
• Plus the person should be well organized, focused, and goal oriented.

Detailed Job description:

• Sr Devloper with special emphasis and experience of 11to 15 years on Working knowledge of Linux distributions, installing packages, managing services, patching, and handling cron jobs. 
• Strong experience writing and troubleshooting Bash/Shell scripts to automate batch processes.
• Define and manage jobs, boxes, dependencies, calendars in AutoSys using JIL and Workload Control Center (WCC).
• Install, configure, upgrade AutoSys, manage agents, handle patches, monitor job health, and resolve scheduling issues.
• Maintain clear documentation, manage change requests and defect tickets (e.g., via ServiceNow) under structured ITIL or change processes.
