Position: Data Base Developer
Work Location: Lake Mary, FL – Hybrid || 2 Days || Locals Only
Required Work Authorization: USC & GC Only
Project Type: Long Term Project
Type of Hire: Corp to Corp (C2C)
Skills: Exadata and Oracle and PL/SQL and ServiceNow
Required Qualification:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
· 5+ years of experience working with Oracle database systems.
· Strong knowledge of Oracle databases, performance tuning, and backup/recovery procedures.
· Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
· Familiarity with database best practices.
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
· Strong communication and collaboration skills.
· 4+ years of experience.
· Strong PL/SQL skills.
· Not necessarily monitoring performance but must be able to review an ad hoc ask and troubleshoot/optimize.
· Testing the feeds coming through the migrations (developing test scripts, understanding existing views, Oracle database, proficient in PL/SQL programming).
· Strong communication/collaboration skills.
· Problem-solving skills.
· Any ServiceNow or Jira experience is a big plus (or an understanding of ITSM).
· Previous experience with encryption/risk management is a plus.
· Previous Exadata experience is not required.
· Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
· Previous financial services experience is not required.
· Contract position… extension/conversion is possible but not promised.
- Onsite 2+ days per week in Lake Mary, FL is (primary location since team is based there)… Pittsburgh is a secondary option.
