Job Title: Data Quality Analyst (Hybrid) Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Local or Nearby) Duration: 12+ months of contract Interview: Need F2F interview Visa: USC & GC C2C, W2, 1099 In this role, youll make an impact in the following ways: - Perform data quality activities (data quality rule creation, profiling and deployment, edit checks, identification of issues, root cause analysis, value case analysis, remediation planning.
- Perform complex analyses to support business rules. Provide feedback to stakeholders regarding results.
- Conduct root cause analysis, pattern analysis, and other validation to detect errors.
- Identify, assess, and resolve (cleanse) data quality issues by creating validation rules for assessing the quality of data relative to business rules and previous trends.
- Analyzing rule requirements to determine logic and physical data controls for validity, completeness and consistence.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of Enterprise data quality dashboards.
- Research data lineage to help detect areas that have issue with data quality.
- Coordinate Data Quality activities with the Data Management team / Data Governance Committee and Data Quality Working Groups).
- Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of Enterprise KPI and reporting.
Qualifications: - Bachelors degree in a technical or analytical field or equivalent years of experience.
- 3 years of professional data quality work experience in the financial services industry 2 years of working knowledge Data Quality tools.
- Experience with data, preferably in data management or governance.
- 2+ years experience in data quality SDLC.
- Experience with navigating data structures and models.
- Experience working with data flows, SQL and other data modelling disciplines.
Preferred: - Collibra (Data Quality Data Catalog, Business Glossary Data Lineage).
- Enterprise Issue Management applications.
- Experience implementing data quality operating model for Regulatory Reporting, Liquidity & Compliance.
