Position: Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP – Project Management Module SME

Work Location: Houston, TX

·       This role is onsite, so the candidate will either need to live in Houston or be willing to move to Houston before the project starts.

·       Work environment – onsite Mon-Thurs in The Woodlands.  No exceptions.

Global engineering and environmental services company is starting a greenfield implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP (Cloud ERP) and is building a new team to support the program.  This global implementation will begin in Q1 2025, with the current implementation schedule expected to continue through 2027.

One of the first program work streams is the design and implementation of Oracle Project Management (“Projects”).  The company needs a consultant with in-depth knowledge of end-to-end project management work streams and processes and SME level expertise with the functional design and configuration of Projects. 

Primary responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Business process analysis, mapping, and documentation.
• Functional requirements identification and documentation.
• Projects module functional design and configuration specifications.
• Projects module enhancement/customization requirements identification and design specifications.
• System integration mapping and requirements specifications.
• Data analysis and conversion mapping requirements.
• Functional work stream test case development and UAT support.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 10+ years of IT industry experience.
• 8+ years of Oracle Projects module functional design and configuration.
• 4+ years of experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Projects module.
• Demonstrated experience with multiple, full lifecycle implementation projects.
• Critical process knowledge and Oracle Project functional expertise must include:

·        Project planning, scheduling, forecasting,

·        Resource management and WBS,

·        Cost management,

·        Billing and revenue management,

·        Program management reporting,

·       Demonstrated experience identifying and developing specifications for Projects module integration requirements.
