Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Salesforce DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in Salesforce development and deployment processes, with a strong command of DevOps tools and methodologies. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end release lifecycle, ensuring smooth deployments, and maintaining the integrity of Salesforce environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce using tools such as Jenkins, Git, Ant, Salesforce DX, and Force.com IDE.
- Utilize DevOps platforms like AutoRABIT, Copado, and Gearset for release management and automation.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and admin teams to streamline deployment processes and reduce manual efforts.
- Manage version control and branching strategies using Git.
- Develop and maintain scripts for automation and deployment using Ant, Shell, or Java.
- Monitor and troubleshoot deployment issues, ensuring high availability and performance of Salesforce environments.
- Support environment management, including sandbox refreshes, data seeding, and configuration.
- Assist in data migration and integration efforts using tools and APIs.
- Ensure compliance with security and governance policies during deployments.
- Document processes, configurations, and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Salesforce DevOps or related roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce DX, Git, Jenkins, Ant, and Force.com IDE.
- Proficiency with AutoRABIT, Copado, and/or Gearset.
- Solid understanding of Apex, Visualforce, and Java.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control, and release management.
- Familiarity with Salesforce metadata API and deployment tools.
- Experience in data migration, integration, and environment management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Advanced Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, DevOps Specialist) active for more than 2 years.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and integration tools.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
