Looking—-Sr. Business Analyst at onsite Tallahassee, FL

·       Research and understand FDOT business processes and their inter-relationships

·       Document and diagram business and system processes and dependencies between them

·       Research and document impacts on agency business systems

·       Facilitate joint analysis workshops with the business units

·       Gather and document business and technical requirements as user stories in Azure DevOps and other tools

·       Manage backlog and work items using Azure DevOps

·       Coordinate with data migration and development teams

·       Develop Test Plans and Test Cases

·       Coordinate testing and quality assurance efforts

·       Perform oversight reviews of deliverables for compliance with department standards

·       Perform detailed research, business analysis, as-is and to-be analysis, process modeling.

·       Perform System Analysis & Design using a variety of modeling methodologies and techniques

·       Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders

·       Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Communication, Information Systems, or related field required. Equivalent work experience may substitute for educational requirement

·       5+ years of experience in Business Process Analysts and systems analysis

·       Proficiency in writing SQL Queries and performing Data Analysis

·       Proficiency in process mapping/modeling with tools such as Visio

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Power BI, and Project

·       Knowledge of data migration

·       Ability to relate to stakeholders’ needs, document their requirements, and perform duties in the absence of staff

·       Ability to receive and give constructive criticism and maintain effective work relationships with others

·       Ability to adjust to changing demands in a dynamic environment with diverse work assignments

·       Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) is highly desired

·       Experience working with Microsoft DevOps to manage user requirements and backlogs

·       Knowledge of Rules 60GG-1 – 60GG-5, Florida Administrative Code

·       Knowledge of change and release management

·       Knowledge of testing and quality assurance tools and techniques

·       Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards

·       Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings
