MicroStrategy QA Tester
Location – San Jose , CA ( Hybrid)

Rate – $50/hr on C2C

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3-5 years of experience in QA roles with experience in testing MicroStrategy platforms and solutions.
• MicroStrategy Knowledge: Familiarity with MicroStrategy products, including MicroStrategy Developer, MicroStrategy Web, and MicroStrategy Intelligence Server.
• Testing Methodologies: Experience with manual and automated testing methodologies, including black box testing, white box testing, and integration testing.
• Tools: Proficient in using testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, and Cucumber.
• SQL: Knowledge of SQL and database concepts is beneficial for testing data-related aspects of MicroStrategy applications.
• Communication Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential for collaborating with development teams and stakeholders.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with MicroStrategy Administration.
• Familiarity with MicroStrategy REST APIs and SDKs.
• Knowledge of MicroStrategy security features and protocols.
• Ability to create and execute complex test plans and scripts.
• Experience with performance testing tools and methodologies.

Mandatory Skills:

• Performance Testing: Experience with various performance testing techniques including baseline, load, endurance, stress, volume, network, disaster recovery, failover, and spike testing for SaaS-based/COTS.
• Tools and Frameworks: Proficiency in Jmeter, Blazemeter, Neoload, LoadRunner, OATS, and emerging tools like K6 and Gatling.
• Performance Analysis: Skilled in analyzing test results, server statistics, identifying bottlenecks, tuning, and providing recommendations.
• NFR Gathering: Expertise in log analysis, user interviews, reverse engineering, and NFR documentation.
• Performance Test Planning: Capability in strategy formulation, approach determination, estimation, workload modeling, and risk and issue management.
