Senior Data Engineer
- Design and implement data products and features in collaboration with product owners, data analysts, and business partners.
- Work with a variety of teammates to build first-class solutions for Client technology and its business partners, working on development projects related to supply chain, commerce, consumer behavior and web analytics among others.
- Contribute to overall architecture, frameworks and patterns for processing and storing large data volumes. Research, evaluate and utilize new technologies/tools/frameworks centered around high-volume data processing.
- Responsible for the evaluation of technical feasibility or risks and conveying that information to the team.
- Translate backlog items into engineering design and logical units of work. Profile and analyze data for the purpose of designing scalable solutions.
- Define and apply appropriate data acquisition and consumption strategies for given technical scenarios.
- Design and implement distributed data processing pipelines using tools and languages prevalent in the big data ecosystem.
- Build utilities, user defined functions, libraries, and frameworks to better enable data flow patterns. Implement complex automated routines using workflow orchestration tools. Work with architecture, engineering leads and other teams to ensure quality solutions are implemented, and engineering best practices are defined and adhered to.
- Anticipate, identify and solve issues concerning data management to improve data quality. Build and incorporate automated unit tests and participating in integration testing efforts. Utilize and advance continuous integration and deployment frameworks.
- Troubleshoot data issues and performing root cause analysis.
Applicant must have a Bachelors/master’s degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, or Information Management and 10+ years of experience in the job offered or a computer related occupation.
Position 2: Senior Data Engineer
Location: San Francisco, CA (2 days per week onsite), locals
Skills:

11+ Years IT Experience Required.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Hands-on code mindset with deep understanding in technologies / skillset and an ability to understand larger picture.
- Sound knowledge to understand Architectural Patterns, best practices and Non-Functional Requirements
- Overall, 5+ years of experience in heavy volume data processing, data platform, data lake, big data, data warehouse, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience with strong proficiency in Python and Spark (must-have).
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in ETL workflows using Spark, Scala and Python.
- 3+ years of experience with large-scale data loads, feature extraction, and data processing pipelines in different modes – near real time, batch, realtime.
- Solid understanding of data quality, data accuracy concepts and practices.
- Experience integrating with various data stores, including: SQL/NoSQL databases o In-memory stores like Redis o Data lakes (e.g., Delta Lake).

- Experience with Databricks or similar data lake / data platform.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Hypervisor Engineer with extensive experience in open- source development and hypervisor technology. The Ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing hypervisor code based on real-world scenarios.
Years of experience needed >10 + Yrs
Key Responsibilities:
- 10 Years of hands -on experience in open-source software development with a focus on virtualization.
- Hands-on experience and working knowledge of Open-source Hypervisors
- Engineers with infrastructure knowledge and who can write and understand software codes
