Job Details:

We are seeking an experienced “Mainframe ADABAS & Natural Developer” to join our team in Atlanta. The ideal candidate will have over a decade of hands-on experience working with ADABAS and Natural on mainframe platforms. This role demands in-depth knowledge and expertise in these technologies to support and enhance our mainframe systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop and maintain applications using ADABAS and Natural in a mainframe environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Optimize and tune existing ADABAS databases to improve performance and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ADABAS and Natural application, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior developers on the team.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for all developed applications.
• Support migration efforts, where applicable and ensure smooth transitions of data and applications.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience working with ADABAS and Natural on Mainframe platforms
• Proficiency in ADABAS (Mandatory)
• Strong knowledge on Natural programming language.
• Experience with JCL, TSO/TSPF, and other mainframe tools.
• Experience in the airline industry is an added advantage.
